Oskar Nordström Skans is responsible for IFAU’s research on the functioning of the labor market. He has worked at IFAU since 2000. He received his PhD in Economics from Uppsala University in 2002 and is now a professor at the same university. He has also worked for the Ministry of Finance managing a broad review of Swedish labor market policies. His research concerns e.g. youth unemployment, labor market networks, wage setting, and program evaluation. His has published in journals such as the American Economic Review, Oxford Economic Papers, Labour Economics, and Industrial and Labor Relations Review.
