Long-run effects of active labour market training

Dnr: 243/2013

This project examines long-run effects of active labour market training in Sweden on labour income, employment status and welfare receipt. Several previous studies have examined short-run effects of training. But, if training leads to improved human capital and new skills, this can lead to extensive effects in the long run. We use Swedish register data to study effects up to ten years after the training programme. We also study how the effects vary over time.
