Research grants
Each year, IFAU awards funds to research on labour market policy and studies of the functioning of the labour market and consequences of various reforms and measures within the educational system.
Research grants from IFAU in labor market and education
In total, IFAU awards SEK 5.6 million each year (2.8 each within the respective area above). The awarded funds are usually distributed among several different projects, and it is possible to apply for funding for one or multiple years. (See Awarded reaserch grants for information on funds distributed in previous years.)
IFAU provides funding for research on:
• Labor market policy measures and studies on the functioning of the labor market.
• The consequences of various reforms and measures within the education system.
Since the researchers at IFAU are mainly economists and statisticians, we warmly welcome those who carry out research in other scientific areas to apply for research grants from IFAU.
