Research grants

Each year, IFAU awards funds to research on

-labour-market policy and studies of the functioning of the labour market and

-consequences of various reforms and measures within the educational system.

In total, IFAU awards SEK 5.6 million each year (2.8 each within the respective area above). The funds are usually awarded to several different projects and it is possible to apply for funding for one or several years. (See Awarded grants for information about the funds awarded in previous years.)

Since the researchers at IFAU are mainly economists and statisticians, we warmly welcome those who carry out research in other scientific areas to apply for research grants from IFAU.

You are very welcome to submit your application which must have reached IFAU by October 1 each year.
